Estelle sent in this JPG with a note:
Attached is a FaceBook header I created for Obama supporters to use. I thought it was cool and creative way to get the word out on such an awesome President. Hope you like it!
Love it. Thank you!
B.T. mentioned it would be sweet to get a version of our HQ mural that would be big enough to use as a desktop wallpaper. Tumblr wish: granted. Just click on the image above to get to the larger size and right-click to save.
The mural itself was painted by Matthew Lane, Meredith Kachel, and Shin Lee—artists who volunteered their time and talent to making our walls prettier. We appreciate it!
That HQ mural we told you about the other day just got painted in. Here’s some before-and-after.
Rachel left these photos in our inbox with this note:
In 2008 I was only 16, and even though I couldn’t give Obama my vote I vowed to give him my time. From July-November ‘08 I was a field intern at OFA IL where I organized volunteers from Illinois to canvass in Wisconsin. It was an incredible experience. Currently I am studying at the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, and am a fellow at OFA DC, and am organizing in Ward 3 in DC. I am home this winter break and decided to make an Obama-themed mug, and I think it turned out pretty neat.
We agree, Rachel. Happy sipping.
In more mural news, here’s one that just got put up on the wall of our accounting department at HQ. (Also, someone’s poinsettia.)
How cool is this mural that volunteer artists painted on the walls of our new Minneapolis field office? We’d submit: So cool.
Edited to add for those asking where this office is so they can go volunteer: it’s here! Thanks to Brandon in MN for sending along the photos.
