W. on the job market facing recent graduates:

I graduated with a BA in Psychology in May of 2010. I have been searching for a job since graduation and have applied for over 600 jobs that I am qualified for, or overqualified for.

I just got off the phone with a potential employer who let me know that I was a perfect fit, but that they had chosen someone else.

The market is flooded with qualified people, and there seems to be little hope for a recent graduate like me. I am currently working through a temporary agency, at a local factory.

Searching for a job for over a year has broken me, made me feel like I put myself through school for no reason. I wanted to help people, but I feel as if I can barely help myself.
