I just donated to the Barack Obama campaign, because

I may have no money, but it’s worth it
“Duh.” (Thanks.)

I’m 27 and I’ve been a registered Republican voter since I was first eligible to vote. (Should I admit that on a blog for a Democratic president? Oh well.) But come November, I’m voting Obama. Here’s why:
Student loan debt. I have it. A lot of it. Obama has actively pushed legislation that offers real solutions to ease this burden. “Go ask your parents to borrow money” is not even close to being a real solution.
Education. I’m going to a teacher, and Obama wants to help make sure I have better odds of finding and keeping a job. Jobs kind of come in handy when you have to pay back student loans.
Health care. I’ve gone without it for years at a time. It’s meant paying hundreds of dollars to fill just one prescription for things like an asthma inhaler. While Romney seems to think I can afford this, Obama recognizes I cannot. Heck yeah, Obamacare!
Bottom line, I feel like President Obama has my back. So come November, I’ll have his back in the voting booth.

The Obama campaign released an embeddable voter registration form that you can insert into any of your websites, including tumblr.
I don’t think you guys understand, President Obama is letting you get registered to vote from tumblr.
This must be what life was like for The Jetsons.
Yeah, this is pretty rad.
And I’ll take this opportunity to post what is possibly my all-time favorite email:
